Tips of Using AnyBackup to Backup Emails
Sending or receiving emails are the most common use of Internet, and most of your emails are very important which need to be backed up and saved carefully. AnyBackup provides various and strong functions and supports in email backup. Start AnyBackup, click “File” in menu to select “data backup” to pop up the following dialog box: ![]() Select Outlook、Outlook Express、Foxemail、Thunderbird in the dialog box; input “email backup” in Job Name and detailed position in “destination”. You'd better choose removal hard disk, U disk or other computer(s) in local network than hard disk in local machine as destination to ensure a better data safety. Set Backup OptionsClick “Option” in Create New Job dialog to pop up the following dialog box:![]() Select “Increment Backup” for email backup job in the above dialog box, and choose “Advanced” tab. ![]() Set encryption in the above dialog box and input your password, which could make ensure security of your emails, even if there is somebody illegally access your emails and he won't open, read or use them at all for these emails are encrypted already, which gives your privacy effective protection. Set Backup ScheduleClick “Schedule” button in Creating New Job dialog box to pop up the following dialog box:![]() In this dialog box, you need to input the same user name and password as when you log on Windows, which is because AnyBackup works in a way related with Windows Scheduler for stability and functions. As administrator permission is needed to run Windows Schedule, so does AnyBackup. Input your Windows logon user name and password to run AnyBackup Schedule automatically in future : After verification pops up the following dialog box : ![]() You can schedule in the above dialog box to backup you emails before duty-off daily, for example 5:50 pm everyday. So far, you've finished all the operations needed to automatically and incrementally backup your emails with AnyBackup. Restore DataIf unfortunate enough, you lost some of your emails because of system reinstallation or any other reasons, turn to AnyBackup to restore the settings of your email system. To do this, you select task of “Email Backup”, click “Restore” button in Tool Bar to pop up the following dialog box:
