AnyBackup is a very helpful utility featured by simplified operation; it could backup any of your data anytime to anywhere. Now you will learn how to use this multi-functional software in 2 minutes.

1. Conceptions

Usually there are large amount of data stored in computers under different directories and of different importance. So measures adopted by to protect those different data are various. For example, financial data are more important than reference information, thus, these financial data in a company may be backed up on daily basis while the reference information may be backed up weekly. To make things on their way, Eisoo designs different backup schedules and backup types to realize integrated backup management of the whole computer system or network.
   For the security of backed up data, we advise you use AnyBackup to store your backed-up data to another computer, which could well improve security of data than to store them in different partitions of local machine. In the above circumstances, we call computers in which data have been backed up are “data source” and computers to which data stored “destination”.

2. Install AnyBackup

There are two ways to install AnyBackup:
  “Push Installation”:means you install AnyBackup in “data source” computer, and AnyBackup incrementally backs up data to the shared directory of “destination” computer. Data backed up in this way could be encrypted to ensure a high-level security.
  “Pull Installation”:means you install AnyBackup in “destination” computer, and back up data from specific computers. By applying AnyBackup, data will be backed up to the hard disk of destination computer . This way of installation would enable one computer (the destination computer) manages backup of all other computers, and which suits best the situation that an administrator runs backup job of the whole local network .

3. Backup Data

If you choose “Push Installation” to install AnyBackup in local machine, you backup data to file server named “Eisoo” under the directory of “ \\eisoo\e$\backup”.
  The following are main interfaces of AnyBackup:

  Select New Job in Tool Bar to pop up the following dialog box:

  Select data to backup in the file list box, and input“\\eisoo\e$\backup"” in destination input space. Click “Option” button to pop up dialog box:

  You can make financial data safer by selecting them to backup in the dialog box, or you can pick out useless data in this dialog box and choose not to backup them.

Set Backup Schedule

The next step is to work out backup schedule for Job, and after that, AnyBackup will run 7*24 to automatically backup data as you specified. Click "Schedule" button to pop up dialog box as follows:

  In this dialog box, you need to input the user name and password when you log on Windows. That is because AnyBackup works in a way related with Windows Schedule for stability and functions, and administrator permission is needed to run Windows Schedule, so does AnyBackup. Input your Windows logon user name and password to run AnyBackup Schedule automatically in future :
   After verification pops up the following dialog box :

4. Restore Data

AnyBackup could restore any backed-up data conveniently no matter when and how you backed up it and where you save it. Click “Restore” button on Tool Bar to pop up the following dialog box:

  To select data to restore in the above dialog box, click “Restore” button in the bottom and data will be restored.

Data Archive

AnyBackup could automatically backup data to DVD. You can burn DVD weekly with 4.7G DVD burn disk. Automatical DVD Burning is one of the features of AnyBackup, which burns data automatically to DVD without manual work involved.

  Incremented files could be burned monthly or in the end of a year. File server and other data could be full backed up and moved to CD/DVD.
